Our ballet classes are taught by registered teachers of the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and regular students may be eligible for entry into RAD class awards or examinations (optional and entry fees apply, rad.org.au). We are a boutique dance school specialising in teaching the foundation of ballet techniques, musicality and artistry.

Our Staff
Angela Lynne Smith RAD RTS, ARAD
Angela Lynne Smith is a registered Royal Academy of Dance teacher (rad.org.au), with over 20 years of experience in the performing arts. She trained in Brisbane with Lenore Robbins RAD RTS, completed RAD Advanced 2, and graduated from The Queensland Dance School of Excellence in 1996. Angela holds a Certificate IV in Performing Arts (Brent Street), a Certificate IV in Musical Theatre and Commercial Dance (D.L.D.C.), and obtained Honours in Singing (ANZCA Grade 2). As a "triple-threat" performer, her performance career includes roles in The Sound of Music (GFO), Universal Monsters Rock and Roll Show (" Hip" at Universal Studios Japan), Illusions (Royal Palace, France), Odyssey (Production singer /swing Company Manager at the Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Casino, South Korea), and Bor Productions UK shows, Cinemania, Rhythm, and Bon Voyage on Costa Cruises. She also performed with Sydney Showboats, Ocean Theatre Company's Singin' in the rain (Dance Captain in Brisbane), and as a principal artist "Charlene"/ Dance Captain in Tony Meggitt’s The Stadium (Redlands Performing Arts Centre).
Angela teaches multiple dance styles, sharing her passion and experience with the next generation of performers. She welcomes you to her new dance studio Artistry Dance Studios, in Sydney!
